  • This cute little cabin is nestled right in the heart of the hills! Located just minutes from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer state park! There is an endless variety of things to do and see while here in the Black Hills. You will enjoy watching the deer and turkey come into the yard most evenings. You can even try your hand at gold panning in the creek located within walking distance from the cabin!! This cabin has the perfect yard for kids to run and play. While the adults sit outside and enjoy the outdoors as well. The cabin does have AC ,WI-FI, towels and Linens are provided.

Clean, charming cabin in a perfect spot for exploring the Black Hills. We truly enjoyed our stay. Visited the Badlands, Devils Tower, Custer State Park, and of course Mt Rushmore. The Iron Mountain Road is super close with great views of Rushmore, tunnels, pigtail bridges. Glad we got to meet one of the cabin’s owners and say hello. I hope we get a chance to stay here again because we definitely would.

We loved our stay. The pictures don't do it justice. It was so clean, larger than expected, and nicely decorated. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife everywhere. Highly recommend.

Great location

We enjoyed visiting Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park! The buffalo were cool to see and Keystone was a great little place to eat and do a little shopping.

The location was perfect for us to see the sights. The cabin was beautiful inside with the knotty pine and rustic tables. The window unit and fans kept it quite comfortable. When the weather turned cold, the gas heater was cozy and sufficient. The only problem was the invasion of stink bugs inside. I would definitely go back but not during stink bug season!

Great Place, Nice Location

We really enjoyed the cabin in the woods. It was nice to be in a quite place after a day of driving around exploring South Dakota. The place was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed seeing the horse next door in the morning, deer and turkeys also came for a visit. The place was conveniently located to the things we wanted to see.

Nice Cabin

This cabin was nice- very clean and as advertised in the photos and the listing. Check in was very easy. It is a bit further from Keystone/ Mount Rushmore than I realized, but not too bad. The amenities are minimal (only a few plates and bowl, no soap in the shower), but overall it was a great place to stay.

Perfect for your family

Great little cabin in the perfect location- easy access to Custer State park and Mt. Rushmore. Our teenagers appreciated the 2 full beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen was well-stocked with some extras that many properties don’t provide. We’d definitely stay here again.

The cabin was a short distance from Keystone. A nice getaway for the weekend. Nice, warm wood interior. Water pressure was lacking for taking a shower.

Mini Vaca

This was a very cute cabin awash with history. Very peaceful with close proximity to Mt Rushmore, Keystone and Custer Park. Wildlife did not disappoint with a huge herd of buffalo being the highlight. Turkeys and deer to greet us in the morning. Will definitely recommend to others!

It was a perfect location for Mt Rushmore. Could drop in to the monument whenever we felt like it. Loved the small town atmosphere. The cabin was far enough of the beaten path to feel secluded but located close enough to civilization ❤️it

Wonderful Location & Property

We had a wonderful few days at this cabin. Loved the history and the space. Our kids enjoyed all the outdoor space and played like crazy. We saw deer every morning and the picnic table has beautiful views of the hills. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely ideal and it was so fun to take a back way through some tunnels to see Mt. Rushmore. Wow! So close & convenient to everything.

Great cabin!

This was a very nice cabin with interesting history. It was very neat and roomy and a perfect location, right outside Keystone. When we got up our first morning, there were five deer and about a dozen turkeys in our front yard. We were only 15 miles from Mt Rushmore! Loved having a washer/dryer. Our hosts provided lots of extras, such as detergent! And coffee! We would highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful property in the Black Hills

This is a wonderful cabin home in the Black Hills. Beautiful scenery!! Good location with easy travel to all the sites! It’s minimally stocked for cooking, but worked for our families needs. It was hot when we were there. The 2 window a/c units did a good job of keeping the main living areas cool, but the bedrooms were warm. Didn’t sleep well. All in all though we had a great time!
