"First time in Wollongong. Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding and couldn’t have been happier\! The cost was so affordable, and the beds were incredibly comfy\. Probably the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in\! The staff were lovely, and I really enjoyed the included breakfast too\. There was a great spread with plenty of options\. The location, right on the beach, was perfect, especially with the beautiful weather I had during my stay\. Everything was completely stress free, from check in to check out\. Highly recommend\! Would definitely stay here again."
Grand Hotel Kiama

"The Grand Hotel in Kiama is a historic building conveniently located in the centre of Kiama and close to the large blowhole. Consider visiting the much less visited small blowhole, which is far more regular and blows more than many of the large blowhole's blowing. The hotel has extremely high ceilings, far higher than any other hotel that I've stayed in. The rooms are basic but the floor is clean and the water is hot. The room with the private bath is huge."

"The room was really nice, looked as though it had been recently updated. I did notice in the shower there was dried up soap on the floor and wall which indicates it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. There was also duct tape over the peephole behind the door, not sure if intentional or left behind from previous guest. The table in the room needs to be replaced, it is badly stained and has pieces of the coating missing."

"This is a great house for a large group. The location on the ocean front is perfect, and it is nearby to the township and beautiful ocean view walks. We saw many whales and experienced glorious sunrises every day.Regarding the condition of the house there are a few things that could be upgraded. Bathroom toiletries could do with an upgrade and all the bathroom floors, while clean enough, need a really good scrub. Most properties in this category have better and more generous soap, shampoo and conditioner products. The kitchen was quite well equipped, and we managed to find all the utensils we needed. A new, adult size broom and a new mop would be first on my list to be replaced. Both need to go immediately. Overall, we had a great stay, and I would recommend this property."
