"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. The building interior was like a maze with beautiful objects and resting places all around and overlooking the garden."

We traveled with young kids with varying degrees of adventurous eating and the staff was able to prepare dishes that were more western (mini sausages, fries, sunny side eggs). "I love the Tanbo no Yu! I can tell that its being fixed up more everytime I come here! This time, really enjoyed the pure stream bath it was very warm and a comfortable place to chat with my husband. The food was delicious and healthy with many flavors and unlimited hokuriku rice!
