There are lovely ocean views from the living room, kitchen and front lanai. You will feel the magic of Maui as soon as you walk through the door! Our condo sleeps 6 people and is well suited for families, friends or newlyweds!

    Conveniently located in the Ilima building, you will be close to everything you want to do. The complex is quiet and luxurious, featuring 2 pools, Jacuzzi, BBQ area and tennis courts, and tropical grounds capturing an authentic Hawaiian spirit.

    Your comfort is our highest priority. This is a true TWO bedroom upstairs unit with a loft. The loft bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and can be completely closed off with shutters for ultimate privacy and tranquility. Both bedrooms feature King sized beds with high end linens, private lanais and individual AC units - truly King Suites! There is also a queen sized fold out couch in the large living area. The high efficiency split AC system will keep you cool. If you prefer a more natural island experience, each room has a ceiling fan and windows to enjoy the trade winds. A fully-stocked kitchen featuring granite counter tops and cherry cabinets awaits you with all you may need. Impeccably furnished with comfortable, high-end furnishings. A washer and dryer in the unit contribute to the convenience of your stay and high-speed wireless internet is at your fingertips just waiting for your laptop or IPad! The unit is stocked with extras to make your vacation special. There are beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler for the beach, card and board games if you just want to sit back and relax in the condo. The living/dining room is a large, open great-room with vaulted ceilings, plenty of light and creates a very spacious and tranquil feeling. Enjoy meals on the lanai with a beautiful ocean view. You will also enjoy fantastic sunsets!

    Maui Kamaole is in a fantastic location, within steps of beautiful beaches, Kamaole Beach Park III and Keawekapu Beach. The condo complex is adjacent to all the amenities of Wailea, including the The Shops at Wailea, dining, shopping and entertainment. World famous golf courses and more amazing beaches are just down the road! This unit is on the 2nd floor, with no elevator access.

Great location and spacious condo! Beds were comfortable and the house was stocked well with kitchen supplies. We had one minor issue but the property manager was extremely helpful and quick to have it resolved. I would recommend this condo and would stay again!

The property was clean with comfortable beds and great AC and a beautiful view of the ocean. Loved having 2 pool options for the kids, there were a lot of pool rules and it was hard to keep the kids quiet after being cooped up in the unit for 3 days during the crazy storm but everyone was so nice. Property management was great with communication allowing us to easily book an extra night. Highly recommend this property, would come back again!

We had a wonderful stay and everything was exactly as we expected. The location is excellent—close enough to walk to a beautiful beach, yet conveniently located for exploring the rest of Maui. The property is clean, well maintained, and has a lovely tropical atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the tennis courts and the two swimming pools. The only minor confusion was that the access code we received worked for one pool but not the other. The condo was very well equipped. The kitchen had every utensil and appliance we needed, and we cooked many of our meals without missing a thing. The beach chairs and surfboard were also a great bonus and made our beach days even more enjoyable. We visited in mid-July, and the three air conditioners were just enough to keep the condo comfortable. The upstairs bedroom, being directly under the roof, was still a little warm during the hottest part of the day, but it was manageable. One of our favorite features was the patio. It offers a beautiful view and was the perfect place to enjoy breakfast every morning. It was a bit too hot for dinner in the evening during July, but that's simply the Maui summer weather. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you want to experience the island's many attractions, restaurants, and different beaches. That said, it's also nice that a beautiful beach is within easy walking distance. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

Comfortable place in our favorite part of Kihei

We absolutely love Maui Kamaole. It’s quiet, close to many incredible beaches and walkable to many restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect place to stay in west Maui. This condo was comfortable and stocked with many essentials. It’s a little outdated and well loved (could use a deep clean), but had everything we needed.

Great stay in Kihei

Nice condo close to many things in the area. Two pools were great. The reason I gave 4/5 stars was because the complex did not seem to be super little kid friendly, we had our 1 and 3 yr old with us and the pool didn’t open until 9am (we have early risers so this was not ideal), and the hot tub was very hot and kids under 6 were not allowed.

Spacious bedrooms and 2 separate baths were great. All the condo needs is a white paint touch up interior doors and baseboards and it would be perfect! Close to many restaurants and beaches. We didn't use the pools but they looked nice and clean.

Accurate Listing, Great Views & Location

Our overall stay was great. Accurate photos, Apple AirPlay on TV (easy to watch sports & movies via iPad/phone without needing to sign into anything), great deck with amazing view. The condo is older but comfortable. The showers are really starting to show their age. Note, the upstairs/balcony bedroom does not have much privacy. It has closing shutters but the slats are aimed downwards to the living room, anyone downstairs is able to easily see the bed area.

Reviewer Comments: Overall we were grateful for the great location of this condo, located easily off South Kihei and close to some of our favorite snorkeling spots. The condo was clean and we loved the downstairs lanai and the bbqs as that was our main way of eating while on island. The AC worked great. The kitchen appliances were all nice as were the washer and dryer. The neighbors were very kind and we also enjoyed the pool. Mornings drinking coffee and listening to the birds as the sun came up was a highlight of our trip. Now for the dislikes, the mattress upstairs was pretty uncomfortable to the point that it affected our sleep over our 14 day stay. The upstairs shower is in need of an update or at least a new shower head as it was not comfortable and it was very dark so additional lighting would make it much better in there. The knives in the kitchen were pretty unsafe to use due to having little to no edge with no way to sharpen them. It made cutting our pineapples interesting. We loved staying here overall though and would recommend it especially if those couple of updates are made. Mahalo for making our return visit to Maui a great one.

Unfortunately there was no shade on the main deck so it was pretty hot in the afternoon until 5 pm. A canopy of some sort would be a great addition.

I also appreciated the quick & kind responses to any messages & questions I sent.One thing to note: when I booked the property, the photos showed a canopy over the main lanai. I learned after arriving - & then asked about it - that it broke & was removed. It was a selling point for me & I was disappointed to not use the lanai as much as anticipated. Also, the outdoor light for that lanai did not work. My husband determined it was a burned out bulb which he simply replaced. (I notified the property management & they thanked me for letting them know.) The smaller bedroom lanais were shaded with wood-slatted angled roofs but did not appear to have been cleaned as well as the main lanai. We refrained from using them. Also, the first floor bathroom sink drained slowly.Check the filter in the Brita water pitcher before using. We unpleasantly discovered it needed replacing & chose not to use it. Tap water was fine.The actual beds were very comfortable! The pull out sofa bed was squeaky so if someone tosses & turns, you may want ear plugs if you are sleeping on the sofa or in the upstairs bedroom. Some of the sofa bed springs were exposed but was tolerable with an extra blanket/pillow placed over them. This won't be an issue though if not folding out the sofa to use the mattress. When folded up, the sofa was comfy.Overall, management was friendly, generous, & accomodating when I asked about early check-in & about an additional visitor after having booked the stay. Much appreciated!Even with the small glitches, I would recommend this property. The property management did seem to genuinely care about the user's experience. I wouldn't expect them to know the issues we had if not staying themselves or being informed. Lovely grounds & short walk to Kamaole 3 beach which was fantastic! Saw so many sea turtles & the Wednesday weekly craft fair across the street from the beach
