"My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

"Lovely new property at the back of Lochgilphead. Only a 10 minute walk to the shops and 15 minute to the shore. The Crinan Canal is only a 5 minute walk and Lochgilphead golf course is a well maintained, short 9 holes course. We had a lovely relaxing stay"

"The property was cold and damp, some Mould, with little care. The radiator heating didnt come on automatically, seemed to be set at a low temperature. It could be overridden at individual radiators but that didn't always work and we never got the living room radiator to work. It was reported in August by another victim but a month later nothing had been done. There was an electric fire in the living room but was very temperamental. Logged in to their website to find all the information there. Probably spent too much money by booking through Homeaway rather than direct with Cottages. Com. Views were stunning, great location. "We had a fabulous time at this beautiful modern house!! Best wood burner I've used, not dying out on me. The house is cosy with underfloor heating. We had a nightly visit from a Pine Marten. The long patio doors were a great viewing spot for this lovely furry creature (peanut butter and blueberries) Nice relaxing time had!!!"
