The house was clean, but dated….the kitchen sink leaked and the air conditioner was not working on the 3rd floor, it took them a day and a half before bringing window a/c, which leaked in the one room ! Unfortunately we had rain almost everyday so we couldn’t use the outside very much!

Great week on the beach in OBX!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at A Big Catch! The location was perfect, so many shops and great food nearby (walking distance), Jack’s Burgers is a MUST HAVE. This home was spacious, beds were comfortable, pool was a good size, and the pool house was an added bonus as it was not featured or listed as a benefit/feature of the home. We especially loved the rooftop area over the pool house for hanging out at night. Beach area was clean. We loved the nugget that was available for the kids too, and the rollaway cots!

Fun week with family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A big catch is a great house and very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had a couple of big problems. The grills were barely usable. We called about them and somebody showed up but the problem really was not resolved. Another rep showed up Friday afternoon telling us we’d be getting new grills. It was too late because we were leaving Saturday. In any case, we never got the new grills. In the middle of the week, the pool heater went off. In the past, Wednesday was the regular maintenance day. This time they showed up on Thursday and said the heater needed water so it turned itself off. Wednesday was the warmest day and we didn’t use the pool since the heater went off. $600 to heat the pool- We had no way to know why the heater went off! Since we enjoyed our time anyway, we did resign for next year. Hopefully we won’t have these issues.

House met our needs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Large house and all but one bedroom had its own bathroom which worked well for us. Ice maker is a big plus. Beach access is somewhat difficult as there is a large dune to navigate. Location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We had an ac issue on the fourth floor which they did fix but had to come twice. Response to service calls was very prompt
