"The hotel is right on the beach and it was convenient to get to the shore. The hotel is a little dated, though, but the location was great. It was centrally located and an easy drive to Ocracoke to the south and Corolla to the north. We wished that the quality of the breakfast was a bit better. We stayed four nights and some variety would have been nice."

"Keep in mind, his is an older lace that’s been around since the late 1970’s, however I had had updates. It’s definitely an older no frills place, and was clean and modern furnishings. We checked in and out and never even dealt with a staff person. Seamless. I’ll be back."

"Very nice hotel! I would say surprisingly good for fear priced dog-friendly beach hotel. Clean, modern enough. The only problem we had - when I talked to the hotel front desk week or two ahead and asked about the amenities and pool availability, they “forgot” to tell me that the pool will be closed. Since we came for the relaxed beach/pool vacation it kind of ruined our plans. Weather also was bad, but I can’t blame the hotel for that."

From the beautiful, cozy atmosphere to the genuine hospitality, our stay was absolutely wonderful. If you’re looking for a place that feels charming, peaceful, and truly special, don’t sleep on Cypress House Inn! We had such a great stay and would absolutely come back. You will not be disappointed! 🌊❤️"
Beach Road Bed and Breakfast

"Loved that there was a continental breakfast included as well as an evening wine and snacks provided. Perfect location for beach access. Only suggestion I would have is having beach chairs and a pool shade umbrella - even for a fee. We flew in and rented a car so had to go out and purchase beach chairs"
