"Room was spotless when we got there, comfortable bed, pool very clean and short walk to the beach. Our stay was amazing. Will be returning next year"

"Good place for a short trip. Walk right out to the beach. The bathroom was tiny especially the shower which is why I say good for a short trip. It seemed clean but I always clean our room when we get there that’s just how I am I’m ocd like that but I would recommend to anyone. Also great price and walking distance to several places to eat and ice cream!"

"This is a well maintained, older hotel, located on the beach road. It is not plush but it is very comfortable. Our stay included 2 double beds, located on the third floor. We had views of the ocean and the sound. The price point and location made this perfect for our mini vacay. Sam and Ommies resturant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner was right next door. Jeanettes Pier/beach was across the road. 3 min walk. I would stay here again!"

"First Colony Inn was the perfect spot for our long weekend. The location is perfect for access to the beach, restaurants, and the town of Manteo. Our room was suitable for our stay - no fancy frills, but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porches in the evenings!"
