"Friendly staff, even though the lobby was often unmanned. Super clean rooms, nice tub and well located to most Cork attractions. Good air conditioning for humid summer weather."

"All the staff were friendly and efficient. Room was quite a good size and fairly modern, but bathroom needs to be ripped out. It really let the room down. Badly maintained, black grout around bath and very old fashioned. Location was fine. We parked and got bus into Cork City - approx 30 mins."

"We had an issue with our reservation. By the time we got to the hotel, we found out that a change we'd made to our accommodations hadn't been made, and it would have cost us another $1,000 to stay in the room that hadn't been changed. The staff at Clayton Hotel were accommodating and helped us to change to the room we had booked. We were given a nice room, and the cost was what we expected. My only criticism is the room temperature. It was always humid and muggy, but we were given a fan to help with the temperature."

"The best things about this property were the location near restaurants and activities and the helpfulness of the staff. We also had a kitchenette and laundry. It would have been helpful to have directions for the washer/dryer. Our favorite activity in Cork was the bike tour with James. If you rent an apartment be ready for street noise at all hours and music from bar next door till midnight on the weekends. If you are drinking at the bar this will obviously not be an issue!"

"From start to finish the river Lee hotel was exceptional! Staff was top notch and remembered us by name each day. Hotel is sparkling clean and smells beautiful each day! The food breakfast lunch and dinner top notch! Each meal was outstanding. I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. The rooms were maintained daily and were comfortable for our family of 3. I have no complaints at all and can not wait to come and stay again. Thank You River Lee for an exceptional stay during our time at Cork."
