"The room was great, really cozy and e perching you need. Tv had all the streaming services. Netflix, YouTube, prime etc stunning view over the much and down to scheihallion covered in snow. Only issue was the check in time which st 4pm is pretty late, I spoke to the lady in the next lodge to us who said they let her check in at 2. So we spent 2 hours up at the main hotel waiting. Top Killin Hotel Reviews

Thackray House

10/10 Excellent

"A beautiful property with stunning grounds. Roaring fire to welcome you. Inviting lounges and quaint bar with rustic features and lovely decor. Our gorgeous room featured an exceptionally comfortable extra-large bed, with high-quality linen and towels, and thoughtful luxury touches throughout. The dog-friendly amenities, included a fluffy bed, a chew and paw towel all of which were appreciated, and our ground-floor room offered direct garden access. The brasserie restaurant on the grounds had a very good menu choice and the food there was excellent and hotel breakfast was also superb. All of the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. A lovely hotel we would happily return, highly recommended!"
