"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was in an excellent location; close to all the pubs, shops, etc. A beautiful old building with lots of charm. The AC was great the first night, however it wasn't working the second night. Had we not gotten back to the room so late we would've called them to look at it, I'm sure they would've had it running ASAP as they were very helpful there. Overall I would absolutely stay there again! "

"Very nice bed & breakfast with our own bathroom connected to the room. Rooms are a little on the small side but comfortable. It was a cold, rainy day & when we asked about the heat we were told it was off for the summer but hostess graciously turned it on so that we could get warmed up. Very pleasant hostess who welcomed us & suggested a restaurant nearby for dinner (Powers Thatch Bar & Restaurant) which was excellent. Breakfast was home cooked by hostess & good variety. "It did exactly what it said on the tin. Cheap, but clean and convenient. It's not the Ritz but it was really clean, close to the centre of town, free parking, plenty of space, and the staff were friendly enough. Would recommend and would go back!"

"This is a beautiful very opulent home for anyone looking for a touch of luxury . The room was very spacious and my favourite thing about it was, not the comfortable bed or the large choice of tv channels but the comfy armchairs. I love a comfy armchair in the bedroom and you will not get this in most hotels. The en suite is enormous with fab power shower and a jacuzzi bath. We also had access to the library in the evening which was lovely. Our host Mary is very nice and cooked us beautiful...

"We were in Ireland visiting family when we got stuck in Drogheda late. We called the hotel to see if they could help us out since we simply couldn't get to Galway that night. The hotel was very rude and didn't do much to help us with the problem. I understand having cancellation policies, but this one seems to strict. I went online and it was clear the hotel didn't lose out on a reservation since they still had vacancies. Oh well. "

"Lovely clean modern house. I booked a single and although the room was small the bed was a small double and very comfortable. Shower room a bit small but perfectly adequate.Breakfast was good and freshly cooked with toast but no yogurt or brown bread on offer. On the down side there was no tea making facilities in room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return."

The Hobson family makes their home feel like your home as well. "The room was small but ok. The room was supposed to have a fridge but it didn't. Instead, there was a shared kitchenette of which fridge was available. The bathroom was also small. Breakfast and wifi were good."
