"Great communication from the hotel before and during our stay, our room was clean and well equipped, breakfast was excellent, were unfortunately unable to park on the street outside, but there is a pay and display car park on the next street."

"The breakfast and the staff are fantastic but the hotel rooms are in need of refurbishment and a lick of paint. Although the beds are very comfortable the furniture and decor are very dark and outdated. This is reflected in the price which is very reasonable. I find this hotel perfect for my needs which are bed and breakfast, which I can’t fault."

"Loads of parking and I was made to feel welcome as soon as I entered the building. I was shown to my room and felt very well looked after. I ate in the restaurant both for evening meal and breakfast and the food was superb!"

"The room was a ground floor suite for a hotel the room had a seperate bedroom lovely spa bath/shower but sadly due to disability found it a bit of a struggle to get In this time this is are 3rd trip to same room we have a dog too the staff was very friendly couldn't do enough for you shout out to sam on reception and bar breakfast was in the bar area as we had a dog even she got scrambled egg or a sausage can't fault it defo be back"

"Nice hotel the parking was a joke £11 a night I would have got a better deal in London wife as a blue badge the hotel did not want to know holiday inn express are not a disable friendly hotel which spoilt the day I parked down the road life is hard looking after wife Iwon’t be staying at this hotel again"

"Room was dirty on arrival, pubic hairs in bed, no other rooms were not available, so had to leave and stay elsewhere. The receptionist was lovely but she was on her own could not help in anyway. The website shows lovely clean rooms, but this was not the reality. I have started a claim for a refund but would never book to stay again"
