"Easy check-in, nice clean and quiet room. Unfortunately, I accidentallydamaged what I thought was the bathroom flush, and contacted Nick straight away. He told me not to worry at all, and explained that he would sort the problem out when he arrived. Fantastic owner, I would imagine that certain other people would take advantage of this and try and request extra payment. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again."

"Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. You can walk through the back garden out onto a path along the sea front which also leads down to the beach, spent the morning after breakfast walking along it and enjoying the great weather! "

"Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed ."

"Very clean and well maintained property. Well furnished and equipped. Our only quibble was that the bathroom was actually en-suite with the main bedroom so with elderly people requiring a toilet during the night there was an element of intrusion. However, we were all family and coped. There is also a small step in that main bedroom that our more elderly family initially found problematic so anyone booking should be aware. Otherwise, this was an excellent base for exploring Ayrshire. There are also some very good restaurants eg Oscars and Curry On The Corner. We were fortunate to have clear skies and sunshine for our whole trip and were able to take advantage of the lovely garden in the late afternoons.when we returned from trips."
