The owner of the property took good care of us keeping the place cleared from snow and informed of all the things to keep us cozy for our stay! Wonderful communication with everything. "Lake Augusta cabins are a wonderful retreat perfectly situated. An hour from Minneapolis period period we stayed 3 different times this summer. Each time we've had more wonderful experiences and met new friends. Max It is an outstanding host! "Overall: This property did exactly what it was meant to do- allow us to relax and enjoy eachothers company for a week! Cons of our stay though- The water is not swimmable, we had to travel to a near by lake to actually go swimming. The house did not include a table, so it was hard to play our card games. The kitchen included a breakfast bar with stools for eating meals but not great for playing games. The week that we stayed was the hottest of the year... no ones fault, just ended up that way....

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! The house is spotless and well appointed. The beds are so comfortable and the bedding was cozy. The setting is great with a huge yard and great access to the lake. Our grandchildren had so much fun swimming and they all caught fish off the dock! A great time for all!"

"The house was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated. The lake was beautiful with loons calling and a wonderful breeze coming off the lake. The games were a big hit as were all the places to just enjoy the views. We had a rainy stay, but we loved the stay and house. Brett was a super helpful host and he was very easy to work with on the rental and checkout. Fantastic!"
