"The location of the hotel was 3 blocks from St. Guiles Church. I stayed in the Castle Turret facing the street and it was very quiet. Staff was helpful and the breakfast offered by the hotel was satisfying. Friendly staff and a clean good size room. I would stay here again."

"Great staff working here! The room was very quiet and comfortable. Close to the train station. I was in town for a bus tour around the Highlands. Walking from the hotel to the bus station was just a little over 10 minutes."

"Quirky building and a lovely room. Upgraded free of charge which was a lovely surprise 🥰 young man who checked us in was so lovely polite and friendly 😊 We went for a meal elsewhere for my mums birthday and when we came back we visited the pub across the road which is also part of this family business and again the place was cute and clean with wonderful staff and locals. In the morning we visited the dolly tearooms and yet again fabulous staff lovely breakfast menu. Again this is run by the same family... and to add more the family are from the village itself which is nice that they have helped raise the business and employment in a little village And all the locals think highly of these business owners, who also do alt for the village itself. This shows this family and their services k ow what they are doing and because of all of this we will definitely be back to stay. Fantastic hotel in the countryside

"Excellent hotel , with lots of charm and character, outdoor seating was great in the gardens and bar is very comfortable and cosy. Restaurant was very nice and have yet to sample their afternoon tea. The staff were extremely professional and very helpful and i would highly recommend staying here"

Cosy cottage located 25 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre

Ireland and Scotland trip of a lifetime.

"We found the cottage to be a very interesting design of the outwardly past century and inwardly modern. Victor and Carina have made the cottage a cosy place to land. The area was so delightful. We walked along tracks that took us to bubbling steams. So much flora and sunshine. Easily went on the train to Edinburgh a couple of times. "
