Beautiful, Sunny, Quiet Tahoe House for Summer & Ski Getaways

Perfect summer or ski getaway! Beautiful, comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath house with a well stocked kitchen, gas grill and new hot tub. Only 1 mile from the lake; walking distance to regional parks and trails; 5–20 miles from 3+ Tahoe's best ski resorts. Thoughtfully decorated and furnished with treasures from Tahoe and world travels. Family/kid and dog friendly!

The space

Perfect Summer/Ski Getaway! Beautiful 3 Bedroom/2 Bath House with Jacuzzi/BBQ...only 1 mile from the lake, walking distance to regional parks/trails and 5-20 miles from 3 ski resorts. Very nicely decorated and furnished, so please only inquire if you are looking for a very nice, peaceful house to spend time in Lake Tahoe.

Entire house (bedrooms, bathrooms, living-dining rooms, entertainment cabinet (TV, stereo, dvd/video player), fully stocked kitchen, deck with jacuzzi & BBQ, garage & driveway.

We live in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood called Kingswood Estates. It's very well kept and plowed during the winters, includes both vacation and permanent houses, and borders the North Tahoe Regional Park with wonderful walking trails and public tennis courts and fields.

The Tahoe Area Regional Transit Bus picks up right at Kingwood Drive and Highway 267, so just a couple of blocks away, and takes you to the major resorts and around the lake. Taxis are also available.

Wondeful!

My apologies to Laurent for not writing this review sooner. I am a professional in the fitness industry and a group of friends and I stayed here during our participation at TOUGHMUDDER TAHOE. This rental is fabulous! Everything was just as described in the listing, clean and orderly! Laurent (the owner) gave us very clear and helpful directions to the venue, as well as useful tips around the house. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this location to others!

Loved this cabin!

We loved staying at this cabin. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We along with another family stayed together and had plenty of room. We had 2 children under 5 with us plus our dog and everyone had a great time. The cabin was well stocked, nicely furnished and very clean. We can't wait to go back!

My Favorite Chalet in Tahoe!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. It has all of the essentials for a perfect weekend in Tahoe. It's a quiet neighborhood with a walking trail really close by for laid back days. The hot tub is perfect for summer and winter. All the rooms have comfortable beds, and it's so easy to fit a lot of friends and family. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a full dining table, so you can all cook and eat together. It's clean, the internet works great and there's T.V. To top it all off, Lo is a wonderful host. He is so friendly and easy to contact. Stay here!!!!!!

Great year-round location

We've probably stayed at this house a dozen times over the past few years, and will continue to return without hesitation. It's in a superb location for both winter and summer activities, close enough to the grocery store, yet tucked away in a quiet spot away from the crowds and traffic. While the place certainly has its idiosyncrasies (hey, don't they all?), there's more than enough to make up for it. And our regular travel partners, who happen to be professional caterers, never fail to comment on the quality of the kitchen. The owner has always been both accommodating and attentive; writing this review feels more like giving a pat on back than the onerous chore that it could have been.

Great location! We have been there twice (summer and winter) and had a perfect time. The house is well located. The living area is really spacious and the house super cozy! Hottub on the deck after a full day was sooo great!

Feels Like Home

This snowy chateau-cabin has the look and feel of a second home, more than a slummy vacation rental we find ourselves in more often than not. The care and love the owners put into this place is reflective of the respect they gave us as renters. We left as friends more than tenants and were happy to afford their more than reasonable weekend rate. It's close enough to Kings beach to be convenient, but far enough away to feel comfortably secluded. The walking trails were great for us and dog-walking. We are excited to try out the disc-golf course next time and the nearby hiking trails definitely met the needs of our "Get out and hike" twitch. Warm and cozy in the cold and open and airy for BBQ days, I can't imagine a more perfect dream home. Looking forward to my next retirement. :) Something to improve? How about a couple more contemporary books for those of us who forgot to pack one, though the kitchie french literature made for fun with a bottle of wine. Top of my list of places to stay again, hopefully it's available!

Great spot for family ski holiday

This is a clean and homey place for our annual ski-fest. Good kitchen and open living-dining area great for kicking back. Jacuzzi on the deck is a big plus after a hard day on the slopes. Little things, like sleds in the garage for kids, are a nice bonus. The owner is helpful and attentive. Location is halfway between Kings Beach and Northstar. We have stayed here for a number of years and have been very happy.

Fabulous cabin in fabulous location!

We are staying at the cabin this weekend and having a fantastic time! The house is clean, comfortable and with charming decor. Amenities are modern. Hot tub and deck are unbeatable! Kitchen is well stocked and we will be back! House is a short drive (maybe even walking distance in the summer) to the lake, beach and grocery store. Lots to do in this neighborhood! We are hiking straight from the trails outside the cabin door today!

Phenomenal cabin

Are family loves this vacation home! We have been back close to a dozen times and its great for entertaining and extended visits. There is access to hiking and running trails out the front door. We bike and hit the beaches every summer. All our friends know to expect the bbq to be fired up and the hot tub to be open. We'll be going back soon.
