We LOVED exploring Kings Canyon, but were frustrated that we were required to purchase tire chains to head into the park, only to not use them at all.






For the end of the road day it was a nice secluded place to spend the night.

Our television did not work for two days even when we were told it should work after contacting their tv service. Staff was extremely curteous.

This is a great lodge/cabin style property in the woods off the Generals Highway. There’s a lake and tennis and archery. People come to vacation here. Wow! What a treat it was to stay here. It was perfect in every way. Everything you needed in the kitchen, comfy furniture and beds throughout. Staying in the National Park was such a treat! Location is just great.
We drove the beginning part, then decided to turn around. The Forest turned to rocks, the mountains getting closer, feeling a little closed in. We heard that the falls at the end were lovely, yet the failed business we passed gave an abandoned feel
Walk as much as you can. Don't drive..
The Rangers there are very strict and love to give tickets!
Beautiful area. Don’t miss the waterfalls. Hiking was great.
