"Just as wonderful as the photos and description suggest. Very prompt and helpful communication. Our family stayed two nights, and didn't need to switch out the portable generator (though the host assured us they were happy to bring us a power backup, even in the middle of the night). Beautiful, spacious spot, quiet. A great spot to stay and explore the surrounding area, we plan on coming back."

"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"We loved this quaint waterfront cabin where our only neighbors were birds and sea animals. The house had everything we needed for restful mornings and peaceful dinners on the patio after our days of adventuring around the area. With the water on one side and lush greenery on the other, this house sits on 360 degrees of natural beauty. "

"Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. The cabin is adorable and not small, with plenty of space for yoga. The bed was comfy, the outhouse incredibly clean. I hope to return. "

"We had a wonderful time at this house! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the books were fascinating. It was great. Also so easy to get out to some great beaches"

"Wayne and Nanette were amazing hosts with so many sweet touches including snacks and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The cabin on the lake was the perfect spot to stay and play or consider home base after a long day of hiking. We would definitely stay again! "

"It was an enjoyable stay on a quiet farm in a private spacious tent with a comfortable bed. It had the comforts of home in an outdoor setting and I enjoyed it very much!"

"The house was just what we needed for a place to sleep and relax/eat in the evenings while my daughter had a sailing competition nearby. Host was great in getting the wifi password to me the night we checked in since T-mobile desont have great reception"

"This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first time. The kids loved playing in the basement, the adults loved enjoying a cocktail on the deck, and we all loved kayaking and exploring the beach at low tide. We will definitely be back for a third stay!"
