The Brass Fox- Elegant Renovated Kingston 2br Home

About this space
Built in 1946 and lovingly reimagined in 2021 from the ground up, this cozy cape leaves no detail overlooked! This sun-filled, peaceful and airy mid-century gem is just a stone's throw from the vibrant Midtown Arts District in the heart of Kingston. Proudly perched atop a rocky knoll on a quiet street in a friendly neighborhood, its calming and sweeping vistas overlook the city's varied rooftops and afford beautiful sunset and Catskill Mountain views to the West.
The space
Once inside, you're immediately struck by the wide variety of caring, curated design choices over all three floors.

On the main floor, enjoy cooking or just hanging out in the new kitchen featuring a Fisher Paykel refrigerator, NewAir beverage refrigerator (filled with wine and beer for your enjoyment), deep stainless steel under mount sink with wall-mounted, pot-filler faucet, butcher block countertops, and hand-painted tile backsplash.

Enjoy your meal, work or just relax at the custom designed and built dining table, with enough seating for 8 or plenty room for your favorite game or puzzle. Nearby, a tailor-made built in has a dedicated work space and bar area, open for use.

Upstairs, the new bathroom features painted porcelain floor tiles and a vintage cast iron tub, complete with a rain shower head and towel warmer. Enjoy Le Labo hand soaps, shampoos, conditioner and body soap throughout.

In both bedrooms you'll find queen beds, with green tea foam mattresses. Both rooms also feature handmade Moroccan rugs, which the owner's parents brought back many years ago from their travels abroad.

Out back, step out onto the large stone patio just outside the kitchen door, perfect for dining al fresco or enjoying your morning coffee. The patio has a classic German beer hall table, bought from a local beer garden. Or, set your drink down at the oak wine barrel, a perfect place to chill while you grill on the new propane grill.

Close by, a hand-sculpted cement staircase whimsically bridges a swath of exposed rock face - connecting the patio to the spacious, private, raised, rear yard...perfect for relaxing, entertaining and watching the sunset.
Guest access
You'll have access to the full house, the back patio (fully fenced), and the large upper yard (not fully fenced.)
Other things to note
Please note that the patio area IS fully fenced - perfect to let your dog out. The back upper yard is NOT fully fenced.

Please wear shoes in the upper back yard.
