"The staff were exceptional. We were in town for a funeral and they were able to accommodate a very early check in for our family and pets. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Ground floor lounge is a good place to hang out and have local beer on draught. "

Front desk didn’t know there was water for filling water bottles in gym. We were told there was nowhere to get water. Breakfast didn’t start until 7:30 which was a little late for us as we had to leave by 8 for a function. Staff was friendly. Hotel needs updating in main area, but room was quiet and comfortable."
