"We came for a three night visit in early spring, both to do some birding in the region and to observe the total eclipse of the sun. This location was perfect for both. In early April, the yard with its multiple feeders was well stocked with both late winter and early spring birds, and the chance to watch waterbirds pass on the lake was lovely too.
