"We had a great stay the room was very clean and check in was quick and easy thank you so much for the free upgrade we really appreciated it the front desk staff was very friendly helpful and made us feel welcome the room had excellent air conditioning and stayed nice and cold which made our stay even more comfortable great price for the service we received we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel"

"My stay at The Insignia Hotel in Sarnia was outstanding from start to finish. One of the first things I noticed was how fresh and inviting the hotel smelled. The pleasant scents throughout the lobby, hallways, and common areas created a clean, relaxing, and luxurious atmosphere that made a wonderful first impression and remained consistent throughout my stay. The reception staff and every team member I interacted with were exceptional—warm, welcoming, professional, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. They truly made me feel valued as a guest from the moment I arrived. I also want to recognize the housekeeping team for their excellent work. My room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and refreshed to a very high standard each day. Their attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness really stood out. Overall, The Insignia Hotel delivers an exceptional guest experience with outstanding service, immaculate housekeeping, and an incredibly fresh and inviting atmosphere throughout the property. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sarnia and look forward to staying here again!"

"I stayed for a 2 day trip with my kids. The beds were comfy, the rooms were well equipped with A/C which was well appreciated in the +40 weather we had. One complaint was that it smelt a bit like cigarette smoke but the hotel is quite older so that’s likely why. It was very convenient being able to park outside our room! The breakfast was delicious and a great variety not just continental. There were eggs, sausage, waffle maker etc. Overall, I would likely stay here again."

"I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Sarnia. The rooms were impressively spacious and well-maintained. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and the staff were consistently professional, welcoming, and helpful. I also particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, which was kept incredibly clean. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!"

"Fantastic stay!! Amazing value. By contrast I have since moved on to a new property state-side that is costing me nearly twice as much and is half as nice. The Sarnia Comfort Inn was terrific. So clean. Comfy bed. Quiet. Such kind and friendly staff. I can't comment on breakfast because it was served too early for me. Ending by 9:00 for someone on holiday was a bit much but I think they cater to a lot of working folk who are up and gone first thing. I didn't care as I am not a big breakfast person anyway. My only "complaint", a word I use lightly, was the bathroom. The toilet was SO low, it was a bit of a knee buster, lol! And I found the entey door swinging IN towards the shower quite inconvenient. There was no room to move and I am not a big person. So if bathroom space is important to you, perhaps consider an accessible room as I would assume the bathroom would be larger. This is a very small note though. I really enjoyed my stay and when I return to Sarnia I will stay there again. Just book it!! You won't be disappointed 🙂"
