"We had a great stay at Melody's on Marrowstone Island. The rental was fantastic, the perfect getaway. The house was visually appealing and not cluttered, very clean, and well set-up for visitors. Even the couches were comfortable, often not the case with vacation rentals. We loved the outdoor seating areas, and our dog loved the fenced yard. Wonderful early mornings viewing the still harbor and listening to birdsong, and fabulous sunset reflections on the water. We appreciated the little touches--kleenex provided, a tea kettle, good kitchen knives, nice towels and linens---and the good lighting throughout the house. Melody was easy to communicate with and prompt to answer our questions, and Tom who cleans and care-takes the property was very helpful too. This is truly one of the best places I've stayed over the years."

"The location was perfect. So close to any activities you might want to participate in close to the beach. The home had a beautiful view, kitchen and bathroom was well stocked with what we needed. Plenty of places to be together in a group and/or have private time to yourself."

"Tent is located in a rather dark forest area. No directions on how to use the battery operated espresso maker- could not operate it. When I pulled back the blankets on the bed, there was a hair on the bottom sheet and did not appear clean (old stains that had been washed but not thoroughly washed out). Slept in my sleeping bag instead of bed. When sat down to read my novel, a mouse appeared in the bedroom area. (I'm not afraid of mice) -just scared it away and didn't see it again. Other things (washing sink outside) could have been better maintained. No photos as I-Phone dead and connecting cord for charging was not for I-Phones.."
