"Lovely hotel & the room was also lovely.. not a large room but everything you needed you in the room. Very comfortable bed plenty of towels .enough coffee / tea & bottle water. Staff very friendly plenty of car spaces. Would highly recommend this hotel & definitely been booking again in the near future…. Keep up the great work…. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! Felt like I was in Canada with the lovely lodge feel. Bright, modern, spotlessly clean. Lovely brekafast. Just wished I lived closer (I’m 4.5hrs away) so I could go there more and that I’d booked a longer stay this time. Can’t say a bad word about it. "

"All of the staff were extremely helpful and very polite throughout our stay. The building and the location speak’s for themselves with stunning scenery and wonderful architecture. Our room was spotless with modern fixtures and fittings. The Spar facilities had recently opened, had been completely refurbished, and were all to a very high standard and very enjoyable. I would say the only slight negative was that some areas of the house were slightly chilly, which is to be expected this time of year and because of the property's size and age. Would I go back again? 100% yes I couldn't fault our stay. P.S. I forgot to mention the most important thing the food, all I can say it was amazing and compliments to the Chef. "

"What a lovely place ☺️ We only stayed for one night as we came up from Chester to pick up a boxer puppy early on the Saturday,if we’d have known how lovely it was,we would have stayed an extra night,the staff and rooms are lovely (although our room did smell quite musty and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom on the shower and bottom of the bath) we had a meal there on the Friday evening when we arrived,it was so busy with Christmas party’s but the staff were so happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us,no matter how busy they were,it was like they were only serving us,the food was lovely and the decor of the bar and restaurant are stunning,it’s such a shame that we live so far away,if we didn’t I would most definitely stay here again,I 100% recommend you stay here xx"
