Nicely decorated hotel and Jacob and the lady, I didn't get the name of, in the bar/restaurant were very welcoming and friendly, a credit to the hotel.I'm 43 now so if I have got Jacobs name wrong please accept my apologies. "This was a great stay for our family. Two adults and 3 kids (two teens and a preteen) fit comfortably in one of the larger rooms. The rooms were simple, but clean and a great base for exploring the Lake District. Staff was very friendly and Breakfast was wonderful! "
