"Etwas abseits der Ringstraße liegt dieses schöne guesthouse. Nach self Check-in warteten leckere Waffeln auf uns! Die Kommunikation vorab war sehr freundlich, die Unterkunft ist sauber und gemütlich, es ist in der Küche und auch auf den Zimmern alles da, was man braucht. Wir hatten nur leider das Pech, dasmal wieder andere Gäste dachten, die Regeln wie quiet times gelten nicht für sie."
"An excellent guesthouse! We stayed here on the way back from Jokulsarlon. kirkjubæjarklaustur is only about 10min drive away, with lots of dining options. The room was spacious and clean. We had a room with a private bathroom, which was really convenient. The room stayed really warm, and we couldn't keep the window open wide enough to stay cool during the night...

"You're really in the "middle of nowhere" and that's a fantastic feeling. The road towards the hotel is a gravel road (>4km). Make sure to bring your own food because there is nothing to find around.
