"Listen. I've always stayed here when i traveled to Addis Ababa. For the last 4yrs. And mainly because of the staff. House cleaning(burtukan), kitchen(Abdul), front desk(asfar). And it is a few others. But as far as the owner or owners of the property. They have done absolutely no upgrades. Even more so, they haven't fixed anything that had has broken or gotten old. "The Hilton in Addis Ababa is one of the oldest hotels in Addis so some of the fixtures are dated but the staff were extremely kind (airport shuttle driver, clerk at check in, front of the restaurant staff (for breakfast)) - all just extremely nice. My check in process was smooth and the view was great. Finally, there was live music on the Sunday night which was really nice. "

"If eating what you want is priority then here you can cook for yourself. I spent more than a week in the two-bedroomed and life was good. If you want to stay as a group, family on just to feel like home then book it. The breakfast service is well run. Laundry is super. Liked the space but the main bed needs replacement soon. I will stay there again."
