The property was a good space for four of us (family). Dining area was very nice. Felt it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked but it was manageable. Host was very communicative and overall we were happy with our stay.

Communication with host was excellent. This is a good place for young travelers, not multi-generational. The property was clean and easy to locate. On the downside, the stairs were narrow, the beds were not very comfortable, and there was only one full bath so for morning shower with 6 of us, it took a long time. It would have been very helpful to have an extra shower. There was no dishwasher and the washer already had bedsheets and could not be used. We also had trouble pulling the keys from the lockbox late at night,

House was very clean and well kept. Kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Decor was super modern and cute. Parking a bit of an issue. 2 cars fit snugly but we found street parking close by for our third car. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps it fair and balanced:The house served its purpose well for our two families and had plenty of space for everyone. Overall, it was reasonably clean, although there were a few areas that didn’t meet the level of cleanliness I was expecting.The location is right in downtown, so be aware that the surrounding neighborhood can feel a bit rougher than other areas. During check-in, I wasn’t completely sure how safe I felt at first, but I didn’t experience any issues during my stay.

The host was great, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the house and the property was beautiful. It was easy to talk to the host and the booking process was smooth and quick.

Property was being cleaned on our arrival which was nice to see.Beds although were tidy they all had issues from large bed wetting stains to other unknown (maybe sweat stains?) this was unpleasant to the point we ordered new bedding from Walmart before going to sleep. Once the smell of cleaning products cleared we noticed cigarette smoke/smell emanating from the basement tenants. Only to be much worse by the morning as the whole home smelt like an ashtray. We couldn't remain in the house with the cigarette smoke so we decided to leave after only one night. The host would only refund two nights from our original booking of five nights. Further to this the host applied the refund before telling me. Not recommended unless you don't mind heavily used bedding/mattresses and the smoke in a non-smoking property.
