The hosts Elanora and Dave were wonderful. The lower suite we stayed in was spacious and clean with a kitchenette, large TV with Netflix and a comfortable bed. The breakfasts provided were tasty and the company stimulating. The outdoor area is lovely with a beautiful koi pond for quiet contemplation. Would stay again.

Our shoulder season stay with Eleanor and Dave was very pleasant. Our accommodations were above average. We enjoyed wonderful food while viewing the lovely property, and interesting conversation. We arrived to a welcoming greeting and left with a warm hug having made new friends who treated us like family. We will return when in the area.

Have to say what fantastic hosts Eleanor & Dave were , made you feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for you , always on hand for anything you needed. The suite we had was excellent everything you could possibly need was there , everything was so immaculate real home from home stay. Breakfast time was fantastic too there wasn’t anything Eleanor wouldn’t do for you even making sure the fussiest of eaters like my daughter never went without !!! I will certainly be returning without a doubt , this place is a real Gem so glad I made the right decision when deciding where to book !!! Eleanor & Dave you were the perfect hosts and should be proud of yourselves for this beautiful bed and breakfast.

Very accommodating and nice people. Host allowed for a late check-in, and made a lovely breakfast that took allergies/sensitivities into consideration. The room was large and reasonably clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were a bunch of amenities (snacks/drinks, a fan, shampoo/conditioner/soap). Unfortunately, however, I assumed that the no animals allowed policy applied to the hosts, too, and was surprised to discover a dog there (which I am super allergic to). Please take note in case you have allergies, are immunocompromised, or have a phobia - there is a dog in the house. I've recommended that this be mentioned somewhere in the listing. Fortunately, the hosts were very understanding and allowed us to cancel our 2nd night's stay.

Amazing...and affordable!!

Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We traveled 1500 miles to visit family, and Forest Hill was the perfect stay. The accommodation was exemplary…clean and peaceful. Dave and Elenora provided wonderful breakfasts to start our day and engaged us in great evening conversation around their Koi Pond. Our time at Forest Hill B&B was a highlight of our long trip and we wouldn't hesitate to visit them again. We can now say we have "friends" and family in Canada and highly recommend Forest Hill B&B to any traveler. Who knows, you may arrive as guests but leave as friends like we did!!

Had such an enjoyable stay at this B & B. Eleanor and Dave are gracious hosts. The room was perfect. Extremely comfortable and “clean”. The location is perfect for whatever brings you to Kitchener-Waterloo as it’s very central. Daves passion of gardening shows in the beautiful backyard which includes a koi pond and amazing lighting. Very fortunate he weather was so nice for mid September as we were able to sit on the deck for breakfast. Eleanor prepared a beautiful full breakfast both morning, and we were enjoyed conversing with both Eleanor and Dave. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

I loved the family that runs this property. They are very people friendly. The property is lovely and is a beautiful view as you sit and enjoy their very well kept yard. This yard includes an amazing pond with fish that makes it so nice to relax and enjoy.
