Didnt know this property is going to be shutting down and going into reno. No pool no gym. Furniture old and ripped up. Walls were falling apart. Room itself wasnt too bad.

There was dog poop and in the hallway. Receptionist was extremely rude. Room had mold in the ceiling and wallpaper was peeling.

Entire facility is run down and truly filthy. Room was dirty. Carpets are a mess in common areas. I had to clean the sink and faucet to use them in the bathroom. It is about a decade past its best years and in huge need of refurbishing. Way over priced. knew it was a bad sign when someone was paying cash as the counter when I was checking in.

DO NOT STAY HERE

We refused to stay there and are fighting to get our money back. The place should be condemned. It is filthy, terrible smell of old tobacco and weed. There were holes in the walls, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, scum all around the tub, the lock on the door was broken and this was all within 5 minutes of getting our room. We went right back to the desk and said we will not stay here. The girl on the desk didn't even ask why, so didn't care. Asked for the credit card to refund but have yet to see it back on my card. Very terrible experience and this should hotel should not be an option on your site.Makes me question the validity of your website.

Horrible experience

First off, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot it was COVERED in snow. It had not snowed recently so there is no reason it shouldn’t have been cleared. Upon walking it, it was very dark and smelled of stale cigarettes. Once we got to the room the smell was unbearable. I did not even want to take my shoes off because of the condition of the carpets. The bathroom was grimy and there were candy wrappers in the sink! We were in town for a wedding so we had to use the room to get ready but ultimately decided we would just drive the hour home at the end of the night. Very disappointed overall. This place was was horrible the room was so dirty sheets weere stained there wasa smell. Tv did not work was told someone would be up to fix it, they never came. Walls were dirty and damaged elevator was nasty. Dont go into the pool. There is no wheel chair accessibility at entrance not sure how that is even legal. My 2 year found a pair of dirty underwear in the room. Almost every wall had water damage

Let’s see the blankets had like 4-5 cigarettes burns in them none of the lights worked only the lamp and the tv was broken the wifi wouldn’t accept the password the whole floor reeked of cigarette smoke all the carpet were stained really bad it was the most worse experience I had in a hotel!! Do not go here we checked out the same night we arrived it was sooo bad

I didn't enjoy anything about this property except location. Close to a lot of stores and places to eat, super run down, holes in the walls, extremely stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, odor of urine in hallways and elevator. Stay somewhere else . 1 star hotel

Beware - Substandard Conditions

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in 53 years. Very very disappointed, I’ve stayed at other Howard Johnson hotels, this by far is the worst of all. Over all condition of hotel is substandard,,, it should be closed down and reported!!!! Shame on Howard Johnson’s.

The facility did not compare to the advertising on your website, it was a let down. Very dark throughout the facility, two lamps did not work in our room. The room and hotel smelled of cigarette, we are none smokers. The pool was very dark, the pool sitting area was very dirty and the slide didn’t work.

The pool was nice but the overall area of the pool needs a facelift. The entire hotel needs a facelift. There was burn marks in the bed sheets, wallpaper peeling off. No bugs though so yhat was good.

This property should be shut down! It is disgusting, room had wallpaper that let go and wall was full of black mold! When approached the staff on duty about this all there response was to move to another room! Have pictures as it was unbelievable and health and safety have been called as they obviously just want to brush this off and not do anything about it! No accessibility for people that need help with doors etc? How can this still be open???? Very sketchy and disgusting! Not done with this!
