"We checked in on a Sunday afternoon, there was a note saying where to find a phone to call reception. This was answered straight away. The key to the room was on a board by the phone and I had been told where the room was. The entry for the hotel in the website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. The only other place open to get something to eat was an unlicensed Indian restaurant. We ate there and it was excellent. The plus points, room and bed clean and comfortable, ideal for a...

"Very warm welcome by the Reception staff. We were reallocated a lake view room without asking and were placed on the ground floor as requested. The room was spacious, clean, with a terrace. Bathroom was large and shower was excellent. We ate in the restaurant (pork schnitzel and falafel salad).....both were tasty and filling. The restaurant staff were very friendly. We didn't need to book a table and the service was prompt."

"Easy tram journey from train station to hotel. I arrived in 34 degree heatwave, so was very grateful that reception staff booked me in 30 minutes before the normal 3pm Comfortable bed and good size room. Hotel and furnishings starting to show their age a bit, but very clean room and public areas."
