"The property was very central. The room was a reasonable size for one night with everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good with large towels. We were disappointed to be in an accessible room which meant the shower was a wet room and the whole area ended up quite wet once the shower was used."

"The hotel and staff were outstanding but the soundproofing in the room was not great. Don’t get much sleep both nights due to loud and constant banging noises through out the night. This really did have an impact on it stay as by the third day I was extremely tired! The room was excellent, bedding super cosy, room was warm and bathroom clean just the noise let it down"

"Clean, well maintained hotel , well furnished and great team. BUT - BREAKFAST is much under the expected standards of a Clayton hotel. Awful plasticky looking and tasting scrambled eggs, no fried eggs, poor quality sausages, poor choice of cold meats, poor choice and quality of pastries, tinned tomatoes… try to avoid breakfast if u go. The room prices are too high for the quality of breakfast on offer. I’ve been to many Clayton hotels all over the UK- the breakfast in this one is absolutely under the expected standard"
