"While on the whole the hotel is clean and functional and staff are friendly, there are a number of factors which I feel justify a lower rating: - rooms are clean but lacking fundamentals. This is a c€200 per night hotel in Amsterdam's CBD, to not have irons in the room is lacking of the facilities I would expect of this price bracket. While an iron can be requested at reception, the device I was given was basically unusable. - breakfast is something of a free-for-all with an eating area which is *massively* undersized for the volume of guests in the hotel. This is not 'vibey' or 'buzzy', it's chaotic and the last thing you want at 0730. - my room was a comfortable temperature but this came at the expense of an extremely loud AC unit."

"Good location, close to tram stops, small but comfortable rooms. Something else to maintain it, but in general everything was fine! The hotel are located in front the Vondelpark."

"We like everything about this hotel! Steps from the train, subway and tram! Imagine it’s only 1 stop from Schipol airport! 5 stops from centraal station if you take the M52. 3 stops from Heineken flagship store and all. Very convenient. There’s Starbucks close by and wagamama the noodle bar and Mexican resto and groceries. The hotel was really nice and all of the front desk staffs are so accommodating and always smiling! Even their dinning staff were nice and have nice breakfast, lunch and dinning to offer. Trang of front desk and another Asian guy front desk clerk were so helpful with all our questions and requests. And our check out clerk, I think he’s dutch, was really nice too and gave us a pen and a tote bag! Thank you all and keep up the good work! Room was excellent, thank you to the great housekeepers, love the hardwood floor and they restock water bottles, juices and beer everyday as complimentary! Which hotel does that? Come on. Also on the top 19th floor they have Hasta La Vista Spanish bar, with excellent food and staff! No wonder this is always booked and sold out! Glad we got this hotel, we’re very happy and satisfied, away from the main hustle and bustle but so close to it since public transpo is just a few steps away. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and families."

"The staff at RHO were great! They answered any questions I had and they were very nice folks. For the most part the room I had was clean. There were some marks on the walls that could have been cleaned up, but thats just me nit picking. The sheets and comforters were cleaned very well along with all of the towels. The breakfast they serve there is decent. I only ate it once and after that I decided to go out in town to find breakfast. (Not that the food was bad, I just didnt want to eat bacon, sausage, eggs and toast every morning. They had other items like fresh fruit, juices, cereals, milk and baked good, but those things aren't what I would normally eat for breakfast). The rooms heating/air conditioning worked very well. Plus there was a window that could be opened. There is no smoking allowed in the rooms, which was fine with me because, 1 I dont smoke cigarettes or any tobacco and 2 I only smoke weed and it was no big deal to just go outside and smoke it. Not only that but if they find out that you have been smoking in your room, they tac on an extra fee. That is completely understandable and fair. Not everyone that goes to Amsterdam is there to smoke weed or smokes tobacco. "

"Excellent breakfast buffet. Room was spacious and clean. Beds comfy. Would stay again. Only thing is concierge could be a little more helpful and knowledgeable as concierges are supposed to be (eg know dinner places and have other suggestions for things to do)"
