"Fabulous Apart from the quality of the surroundings, the opulence of the decor and the delicious food- a hotel is made successful by its staff. The Vermont exceeds all expectations in this area. Staff are welcoming, helpful, easy to chat with and really can’t do enough for their customers. If we’re in the Newcastle area we will always be staying here ( we’ve stayed in a few others but they don’t compare). 11/10 👍"

"The hotel was very close to the train station and close to pubs and restaurants. Our room was lovely and clean and relatively quiet. The staff were helpful and polite. We had dinner in the bar and it was lovely. Would definitely stay here again"

"Loved the club room and it came with an extra check out hour, free access to the swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Outstanding dining and breakfast was on point. We had a wonderful break. The beach is not very far from the hotel. Just a few minutes drive away. Staff was very helpful and friendly 😊."

"Staying after working for an event in the city & decided to stay in the quay. Malmaison is lovely- beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, great bathroom. The bar is great with a huge choice of beverages, the barman took time to chat and ask about your day. Breakfast was great! Staff at breakfast were really friendly, chatty and attentive. "
