We have stayed many times in Sonesta Hotel & was very disappointed with this one. The room smelled like pets. The tub was dirty. And to top things off, I saw a roach crawling up the wall the morning we were to check out. Basically, the only thing it had going for it was location.

The description indicated that I would have an accessible room with a roll-in shower. When I got to the property, they had a room with a bathroom with only a tub. I have been misled by Expedia. I am entitled to a refund for this night’s stay.

This is an older property, but it definitely felt dirty and smelled. Holes all in my curtain, no hand soap in bathroom or trashcan, no hair dryer. Walked around without shoes in room & bottom of my feet were dirty. Bed slept fine & A/C kept room cooled.

Walked in and the room smelled like mold, on top of that the ceiling clearly had bad repairs done to it and all the cut outs showed. The shower handle didn’t work properly either which made for a not pleasant stay.

Check-in was easy and quick. The hotel has been refurbished. Unfortunately, a fire broke out in the laundry area, so those needing to wash clothes were unable to do so during my weekend stay. The elevator kept us inside for a bit longer than I expected. Thankfully, it opened about 45 seconds later than it should have. The hotel was clean and had a wide selection of television stations (both local and premium) to watch. The hotel is also conveniently located near the interstate and numerous restaurants, gas stations, and eateries. Excellent location!

Dirty and Urine Smells

No one at the front desk. Then a man came to help with cleaning gloves on. The lobby reeked of overbearing floral spray, and we didn't even step into the room due to the urine smell. We left and found another hotel down the road.
