Downtown Knoxville gem

This property was located in a great spot in Knoxville that allowed for easy access to activities and dining. Also the furnishings and comfort was excellent and the management was helpful and accommodating. Definitely would utilize this property in upcoming stays

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and the location in downtown Knoxville was excellent. As noted in our reviews it can't sleep 6 based on current bed configuration, but we knew that in advance of our stay so planned accordingly. Molly accommodated our early morning arrival which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect!!

We loved the openness!! You could see all the way down Gay St… the kids liked to people watch 😁. This Loft was very well decorated, clean with everything you would need for a stay away from home!! We will be back again.

Beautiful Downtown Knoxville Loft!

This loft was perfect for our wedding week stay. The location was exceptional and the loft’s interior furnishings were beautiful. Ideally situated in downtown Knoxville we were within walking distance of everything fun Knoxville has to offer. Molly was an awesome host - always responsive and helpful with all question. Highly recommend this loft!

Central location

The property was in a great location, and very clean and bright. It was spacious, very nicely appointed and well-equipped. The Host was very responsive, which was nice. For those that are sensitive to light and noise, it may not be the best choice. The traffic noise was not unexpected given the location on Gay Street, but there was a very active upstairs neighbor which we could hear clearly. The master bedroom did not include drapes that were sufficient to keep out the very bright lights from the street. The operation of the TV was a challenge, and we could not access CBS. But overall a very nice stay.

Amazing!!!

Listen, I’m not one to give reviews. This place was amazing! It was clean, inviting, well decorated, had all the amenities (Including a disposal and gass stove). It was centrally located in downtown Knoxville on Gay Street. The sheets were even super comfortable and soft. There were many remarks about lighting and noise while sleeping. We did not personally experience that. The guests upstairs were also very quiet and the bar downstairs was far enough away that we did not experience issues with them either. And it is up and open. We did not have to use earplugs or eye covers. These were some of the suggestions that were made. I can see how being in the downtown area can heighten things. But that is what you are paying for when you stay at this place. We really enjoyed our stay there and will be booking again if needed in the future. They also have a penthouse three bedroom suite upstairs for rent as well. Give it a chance. The only thing that I would change would be included parking. Due to the fact, we visited on a game day there was no parking in the free garage. So we did have to pay for parking. Haun, we had a great stay.

Great Location, Cool Vibe

The Taylor loft is an excellent location with a very cool vibe directly above the new and very trendy “The Kennedy” restaurant. It would be nice if the owners of the VRBO could work out an arrangement with The Kennedy to allow guests a reservation at the restaurant as they are extremely difficult to come by. However, you will hear the music from the restaurant below very loudly until 1am. We didn’t mind because we were up hanging out late anyway. The unit is spacious, and the beds are very comfortable however, the master bedroom really is very bright all night long from street lights along Gay Street and all the natural light that pours in. There is no way to darken the room. The second, smaller bedroom did have curtains and blinds, which made it much darker. We enjoyed all the views of Gay Street out the large windows and appreciated the coffee maker in the mornings. Communication with the owner was just OK. The afternoon of our check-in (we were to arrive later that evening) I had to initiate an email to ask for check-in instructions before those were provided to me. I also inquired about a hairdryer and was never responded to. There was one in the unit, but just feels like the staff could’ve been a little more attentive, especially given the price point of this rental. It’s a cool place but there are some misses here that could make guests feel special and want to return.

Over priced

We enjoyed our stay but there were issues that I did not expect for the cost that I paid. The furniture in the living area was nice but not very practical for comfort. The air conditioning was loud and did not stay on very long when it ran. Dishwater was not unloaded from previous tenet, shower door leaked, and no top sheet on bed in back bedroom. The lighting in the bathrooms and bedrooms was weak. The main issue was the noise. I expected some noise being on gay street, but the motorcycles at night were horrible( out of your control), but the worst was the floors and the upstairs tenet. OMG, I do not know what was going but they kept walking back and forth, over and over until 230 am in the morning. I think once the bar opens below the noise will be even worst. Don’t get me wrong, the place was charming, and it’s was fun to people watch, great location to go out at night from, but these issues make it so I would not return or recommend to anyone.

Great weekend in downtown Knoxville. Loved the loft - super cute, comfy and chic. Other reviews mentioned the amount of light in the bedroom and recommended eye masks - we brought ours and slept great. Fantastic location. Only issue is the shower doors need repaired or replaced. Would love to visit again.

Such A Fun Place To Stay!

This apartment loft was absolutely stunning! It made us feel like movie stars living in this beautiful open space with large windows looking right down on Gay Street! Cleanliness was impeccable and overall everything was lovely and comfortable. The only issue with this property is that it is listed that it sleeps 6 people. This is absolutely not true. There are only two beds so at most it could only sleep 4. There is a couch in the main room but it is not comfortable for sleeping. I think the property owners should change this listing to make it more accurate. Everything else was perfect.

Great view but only sleeps 4

The property is very nicely decorated however at the time of booking the listing indicated this property slept 6. There was on two beds and the couch was small and not a sleeper. We had plan for the property to sleep 6.
