This hotel was absolutely stunning. Frankly, I am not used to the level of care we received. It is clear to me now why Layana is ranked the #1 hotel on the island. Absolutely gorgeous grounds, insanely good food, and top-notch attention to detail. Perfection!!

Amazing staff and villa will make your stay luxurious and seamless. We had the most accomadting stay with Alanta Villa and I highly recommend staying their if you are ever in Koh Lanta. They picked us up from the Pier at no charge. The head staff member gave us a local cell phone to have and use during our stay to make things easy in contacting them. Staff organised everything - transport, tours, info, even breakdown service when we got a flat tyre and take out breakfast when we had early tour. Room is spacious and cleaned efficiently every day.

Clean, quiet, modern, and perfect for stay a few doors down from ferry building in Ko Lanta. And a few doors down for food at "Catfish" ... great food and a bunch or cats hanging about.

Transfer from Krabi Airport was a breeze (hotel sorted it via their Facebook Page). Check in was quick and friendly, Pool View rooms were amazing. The breakfast was what we booked for and we werent dissapointed, the filter coffee is turned up to 11 so even the Scandi's were adding milk. Ideal for snorkeling with reefs infront of the hotel, swimming is best just down the bay. Overall for the cost of this property it’s a great place! Staff in my opinion was excellent. The breakfast buffet also very good!

I cannot think of a better place to have based our island adventures. I am so glad that we chose to stay at the more tranquil southern end of the island--so much less chaotic and crowded than the main tourist centers up north. Even more so, I'm glad we chose Alama--from the facilities, to the food, to the tour arrangement/motorbike rental, the place way overdelivers for the price. We stayed at many different places on Koh Lanta. The Crown Lanta was, by a large measure, the best place we stayed at. The grounds are gorgeous, the location wonderful, and the service impeccable. The breakfast was the second best in our entire Thailand stay (the best being at the unrivaled Mandarin Oriental, a 400+/night hotel). For Xmas Eve, we were staying at the Cha-Da Resort, but decided to attend the Crown Lanta Xmas Eve event instead, which as fantastic.

N.D. Place was an amazing place and I definitely recommend it!! The staff was really nice, although they did not speak english very well. They cleaned my room and brought water every time. The balcony facing the forest was really nice and great view. Also the location was perfect between the Khlong Dao Beach and Kwang Kaw Beach and the Saladan NIght Market.
