Doryssa Lithos Hotel

"The location is ideal for a short walk in to the shops, bars, restaurants. Although it is up a hill from the town, so if you have issues walking or using steps, it might not be ideal for you. But for us it was ideal and gave great sea views from the balcony. The hotel rooms, pool and general areas are very clean and well maintained/decorated. The bedroom was lovely and has a mini-fridge for your own drinks, etc. The staff were excellent, especially the manageress and the breakfast service team. Nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely helpful. The breakfast selection each morning was extensive and more than sufficient. The pool and sunbeds were quiet while we were there and we had plenty of choice of where to sit. Overall, and excellent hotel and I would definitely stay there again.. 👍👍"

Sunrise Hotel

"Our stay at Sunrise Hotel was fantastic and would highly recommend. From the friendly welcome to the goodbye, this is a lovely hotel. Close to the harbour, beach and square, location is great and lots of lovely tavernas nearby, a particular favourite was Glavros. Accommodation best suited for couples/adults. There is a pool, I could imagine this area could become very crowded during the summer months. Bathrooms have been modernised and the lovely fluffy towels were perfect, along with toiletries. Communal areas have also been give a lovely refresh. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh daily. This really is a great find, you won't be disappointed."

Athena Beach

"Athena Hotel is in a fantastic location, just across a small road from the beautiful pebbled beach, and surrounded by lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The staff are pleasant, welcoming, and always helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are clean, basic, and typically Greek in style. They are a little dated, but they have everything you need, including air conditioning and the option of a safe. The beds are slightly on the firm side, but the bedding is good quality and the pillows are comfortable. If you stay in the rooms above the reception area, it can be a little noisy early in the morning as deliveries sometimes start from around 6:30am, but it’s nothing too overwhelming. The breakfast is plentiful but quite basic. There’s bread, jams, butter, meats, a couple of cheeses, yogurt, peaches, honey, boiled eggs, and a choice of three cereals. Tea and coffee are available in abundance, although neither the drinks nor the juices are the best. This is probably the one area that could really be improved. Internet is pretty poor, I had to use mobile data most of the time. The pool area is clean and well kept, although it can get busy at times. Luckily, the sea is only moments away and absolutely beautiful. Overall, I would happily return and would definitely recommend this hotel. It offers great value, a brilliant location, and a lovely Greek holiday atmosphere — with breakfast being the only real tweak I’d make."

"Beach view is really nice, but room is tight for two , specially the bathrooms,broken shower , air conditioning unit is outdated , staff are very accommodating , a lot of scattered staff all over the breakfast area and reception "

"Incredible. Just incredible. From the moment we booked this place, Georgina helped us with everything and they are so kind and caring. They spoiled us. The place has an amazing private beach. The locals told me that it is best beach in Samos (which I can confirm.) There are a couple of very good restaurants around. Compared to other places in Samos, it is very peaceful and quiet. I cannot recommend it enough. "

"Only really used the hotel for getting ready and to sleep, so can’t really comment too much. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and it has a nice pool area with big comfy sunbeds. We were only there for 3 days, so spent most of our time sightseeing."
