We had a great time. Unbelievable location looking out over the ocean, turtles swimming out front every day. Quick walk to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. Lots of room, comfortable beds/furniture, well-stocked kitchen, effective air conditioning. We'd like to stay here again in the future.

Had such a nice family vacation here. The ocean view was just incredible, very peaceful, and a close drive to the beaches and other places to eat! Check- in and communication were easy and the place was actually bigger than it looked online. Loved the beach supplies that were provided as well as the recommendations that were given! Would recommend staying here :)

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location and view of the waves crashing on the cove are incredible... front row seats! The location in the south of Kauai was also great and a swimmable beach with snorkeling, sea turtles and seals was just down the road. The check-in and out process was easy and the apartment had everything we needed including A/C.

Property is just next to the ocean, great view from balcony. Very peaceful, and secluded unit. Well equipped kitchen, large bedroom, bath and living area. Very close to beaches, snorkeling and shopping centers.

Sitting in the Lanai watching sea turtles in the cove just feet from us was an incredible and peaceful experience. Also saw some dolphins swim by as well as some sting/manta rays!

Great property overall. You can't beat being right on the ocean. Everyday we watched sea turtles and other ocean creatures swimming in the bay directly below us. This is a beautiful property, nicely decorated, and quite comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Spent 10 days with my niece enjoying every aspect that Kauai had to offer! Our condo was an absolute paradise with the sounds of the crashing shoreline a bedtime lullaby! Will always hope to return to this exact spot on all of our future stays on Kauai!

This is our second stay here at Makahuena 3102 and it was just as awesome as the first time! The views form the bluff side deck are out of this world... especially at sunset! The unit was extremely clean and came fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Will definitely recommend to friends and will definitely be back again to enjoy the pool with the kids (where they spent the majority of the stay).

This villa exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the unit was clean and comfortable, and the view off the balcony was unmatched. The host was able to accommodate last minute changes that helped our timeline to our next rental property. Overall 10 out of 10 and we would definitely stay here again. P.S. hiking trail along the cliffs all the way to Shipwreck beach was something we realized on our last day. Highly recommend. Sea turtles in plain view from balcony.

We loved hearing the waves crash on the lanai everyday! The condo was spacious clean comfortable and wlell stocked. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was extremely convenient. Management was prompt to reply to one small issue. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Kauai!

We had a fantastic time at this condo and with our stay in Kauai. The location was great, so close to restaurant's, shopping, and the beach. We even rented e-bikes and toured around the south part of the island. Took a few day trips to the North and West side of the island, with more beaches and shops to explore. There is so much to do and see. We also took a Kayak and Hike excursion to the Secret Falls. So happy with our choice!!

Condo was beautiful, clean, and even bigger than it appeared in pictures. Views were just incredible. We were there for the king tides and the record waves and it was amazing to watch the ocean in all of its glory. As the tides and waves calmed during our 3 day stay, we were able to see sea turtles out past the rocks when they came up for air. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and everything at the condo was lovely. We hope to return again sometime.

We loved staying in this condo! Spacious and so close to the ocean the lanai railing and tile floor were wet every morning, from the night ocean spray. We never got wet during the day. Sitting on lanai was mesmerizing…..watching the crashing waves rolling in, and we saw turtles daily. Very quiet condo and perfect for two adult couples. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay in Kauai at the condo. Very comfortable and clean. Had EVERY necessity! There was 4 of us and very spacious. Lots of fans everywhere and the condo stayed cool. The ONLY thing I would say is they needed was a king bed in the second bedroom. Overall, fantastic!
