  • *** NOTICE: The first floor and surrounding external areas of Kuhio Shores were significantly damaged by the Hurricane in September. Our condo, on the second floor, suffered no damage. Restorations are currently underway. It is likely that through January 2027, there may be some inconveniences associated with the restorations. ***

    A superior, absolute oceanfront corner unit condo with sweeping views of the surf and sunset. The living room, dining room, and bedrooms all have windows on the famous PK surf and down the coastline to the west.

    Where else on Kauai can you be this close to the waves? 25 feet to the seawall!

    Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles can be enjoyed from your couch!

    Tropical breezes caress you as you nearly touch the famous surf from your covered lanai. Some of Kauai's best snorkel, surf spots, and white sand beaches are all right here. A gorgeous lawn borders your view of the waves, lit with romantic tiki torches at sunset.

    This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a dream vacation!

This place was amazing! The pictures and description of the property was spot on. The hosts were very responsive and the views were incredible. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our sixth stay over 14 years at Kuhio Shores Surf Song unit. Prior we stayed in Maui but fell in love with Kauai and the mountains. This Condo sets close enough to the ocean we can see turtles from the Lanai. It has everything you will need plus spectacular views of the ocean.Mahalo Greg & Connie Scottsdale AZ

Amazing views! Loved listening to the sound of the waves. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely book again next time we come to Kauai.

The condo was clean, spacious, and in a great location. The VRBO host was very responsive whenever I contacted him. Beds were comfortable. Lawn chairs and towels were available. Kitchen had plenty of silverware, pots and pans, spices, etc. A wonderful experience!

The view from this unit can’t be beat. We worked our dinner schedule around the two hours before sunset to watch the surfers and the turtles. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. The kitchen is fairly well equipped though an outlet didn’t work so we moved the coffee maker. It would be nice to have a bigger pan to cook on even for just the two of us. We like easy one pan meals! But otherwise the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the unit is well equipped with beach chairs and towels. Thank you! This is a very comfortable unit with an awesome view!

The views from the room was astonishing. Watching and meeting the young local surfers made it a fun stay. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The beach supplies were great.If I were to make suggestions, the master mattress was a bit worn. Since the balcony is a key piece of the stay, I suggest better furniture. The tall table only had one chair (there were backless stools in kitchen but not comfortable for dining or the right height. The other item that would be helpful are some hooks on the outside wall at balcony to hang towels from the beach. All in all, it was a fantastic stay

The host was good at keeping in contact. I suggested a few improvements after we arrived and he came over and checked them out. The apartment was a little worn, but the location and view were GREAT.

Perfect location, beautiful views! Turtles and surfers right outside the door! They have beach chairs and umbrellas available for use and the kitchen was well-stocked for food prep. Host was very responsive to messages. We had a wonderful stay!

The view from this little condo is amazing, we had so much fun watching the surfers and turtles. It's right next door to The Beach House which we went to for dinner and drinks during our stay. The beds are very comfortable and there is a closet full of beach gear for guests to enjoy.

Great location,wonderful view. The listing needs to be more accurate and be clear about the laundry facility. The listing needs to say washer and dryer not in the unit, pay laundry in building.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Surf Song and would recommend to those looking for a spot with excellent views and easy access to The Beach House Restaurant. Highlights -- a) beautiful lanai spot with views of sea turtles and surfers all day! b) good parking availability. c) large panoramic window views of ocean and sunset. d) owners provided beach equipment which was extremely helpful (although one of the umbrellas seemed damaged). e) when we arrived there was a wedding out the side window at the Beach House with loud music BUT the community has quiet hours that is honored by the restaurant which was great. f) responsive host when contacted. Feedback -- a) perhaps we misread the original listing, but we were under the impression the unit had a washer/dryer for laundry. Turned out not to be the case and although there was one community unit on each floor of the complex, we ended up paying 40 to do laundry during our stay (quarters are not easy to come by BTW). b) for the first half of our stay we battled wasp nests right in front of the entry door, this was a pain and safety issue for our kids. c) the main bedroom was not as described in the photos. d) the oven needs to be properly cleaned; we made pizza one night and the oven smell was so bad we flat out stopped cooking during the trip. e) for the money we spent, we would have liked it if the bath towels did not have a bunch of stains in them. f) multiple windows screens were missing, so we could not open those windows.

Everything about the condo was perfect. The views were amazing and the unit itself was spotless. Great communication with the hosts. We have zero complaints, and would definitely rebook/recommend this unit/host.
