"The facility is very well maintained and the staff was very nice. We loved that they had free laundry units available to all guests and provided detergent. There were water stations throughout the facility. The gym was also very clean and new. Our family loved that the pools were open 24 hours. We would definitely come back again."

"We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4 different occasions as the temperature would get up to 78 and not get any cooler. So we had 3-4 mornings trying to get dressed and it made the bathroom very warm. Al least in the bedroom we had the ceiling fan to keep the air circulating. The office did give us a credit on our bill for the AC issues."
