Thirty feet from the waters edge, our spectacular oceanfront, ground floor one bedroom, Poipu condo, has amazing snorkeling, famous surf spots, and incredible sunsets. Everything you desire in a dream get-away is located on the sunny South Shore of Kauai. Two of the most famous snorkeling spots are a few feet away, Lawai Beach on the right and Prince Kuhio Beach on the left of our condo. Grab a drink and a chair and walk out to the front lawn to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets imaginable.

You can watch humpback whales, spinner dolphins, and sea turtles from the living room and lanai. Our Kuhio Shores condo is right next door to one of the best restaurants on the island, The Beach House. Less than five minutes away, you can golf on two major golf courses (Kiahuna Country Club and the championship Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course).

Our one bedroom, one bath, 732 square foot condo sleeps up to four people. Completely remodeled in March 2017, our unit is unique in that it has central air conditioning to cool down on those warm summer days, it has wood flooring through out, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and two HDTV's. Fully renovated bathroom with a beautifully tiled shower and floors. Our condo has unobstructed views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and, of course, the lanai. Here you can enjoy the swaying palm trees, warm tropical breezes, and the most beautiful sunsets on earth. The location of our unit offers the most privacy and a large grassy area right off the lanai. Features include a king-size bed, queen sofa sleeper, and fully-equipped kitchen. We also provide 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 2 boogie boards,2 snorkel sets and a cooler. There are many places to eat and shop at Kukui'ula Shopping Center which is a short 10 minute walk away. There is a great farmer's market every Wednesday there also. Baby Beach is also a 5 minute walk from our condo, which is perfect for wading in the crystal clear blue waters. There are plenty of things close by to keep you and your guests very busy!!!

Beauty by the Sea

This is the perfect spot if you want to be close to the sea. A short stroll along the grass brings you to the best sunset views on the island. Condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again soon.

Perfect Koloa condo

Wonderful place to stay in Koloa, great property and perfect place to have as a home base. Walking distance to restaurants, the beach, shopping and also a close drive to much more. The condo was clean with a great view and the boat was kind and helpful. I will definitely stay again.

Great stay on the ocean!

We had a fantastic stay at Sara’s place. The condo was perfect and had all we needed. The back patio is jaw dropping as the ocean waves roll in right there! Amazing place for morning coffee or a night cap. The beach gear was so helpful. We took advantage and went snorkeling and to the beach. Sara was a great host; very responsive. She even came over and fixed a wifi issue. Thanks for having us!

Great location on the south coast

Sarah is a wonderful host and her apartment was spotless. We enjoyed hearing the surf at night and being so close to many wonderful activities like the botanical gardens, Poipu Beach, and Waimea Canyon. Sunsets were a highlight, as was eating next door at The Beach House -- what a great restaurant!

Awesome getaway to surfing paradise!

Amazing property right on the water next to world class surfing destination. This is a waterfront condo that has everything you need to have a great trip! The owners were very helpful and have everything in the unit, including snorkeling sets, beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, ect... This property is set centrally located in town and close to all destinations. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot in Kauai

The property was great, right on the water. One of our favorite things to do was to grab a coffee and watch the surgery in the morning. Very relaxing! We went all over the island while here, and this felt like a pretty good jumping off spot. Sara was great, very responsive and helpful. We would definitely pick this location when visiting again!

Perfect location!

The condo is situated perfectly in the southern part of the island with access to beaches, restaurants and shopping. It serves as a great launching spot to travel to the other island regions for hiking, sightseeing and activities. This is our second stay at the condo and we will continue to stay here in the future. The host Sara is helpful, accommodating, and very kind. She was always available and communicated very quickly.

Super clean and perfect location

You can tell Sara takes great care of this property. Super clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the extras we need to cook breakfast, including baggies to take lunch to the beach. She has also thought of all the things you need on the beach but can't bring with you from the mainland- sand buckets for kids, cooler, bug spray, beach chairs, nice beach towels! She has thought of everything. She is right about opening the front slated door and the back door- you will get all the trade winds keeping you cool. And if that isn't enough, she has provided two loungers and a table and chairs to sit on the lanai for ocean gazing. The location was convenient to all the south shore activities. Would book again!

Nice relaxation on south shore

Stayed at Sara's for two days before hitting the Kalalau trail. She accommodated a 90' early check in, by ensuring the condo was pristine. Everything was well thought out and appointed, and the condo provided a relaxing zen feel that prepared me to enjoy the hike upon checking out. Would be interested in staying here for a proper holiday, rather than a luxury staging area before the beach.

Location, location, location!

Right next to the Beachhouse Restaurant, flanked by two beaches where we saw sea turtles daily...and even a monk seal came ashore! Snorkeling, sunrise, sunsets, shave ice, and easy walks to amenities/sights are right outside your door. We loved spending Christmas at this magical location. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable with a welcome sign, treats, and a spotlessly clean place. Mahalo!

Comfortable and convenient

Great location, clean and comfortable!! We spent two weeks in this slice of heaven. Trade winds were up so we didn’t need to use the AC. Bed was super comfortable. Note that washer and dryer are coin operated in lobby on each floor, that info is further down in the description.

Beautiful and nicely located apartment provided by superb host

First of all: Sara was an extremely nice host and responded instantly to all our questions and requests. We found the apartment very clean and even equipped with a small welcome package of some local coffee and snacks - which we really enjoyed. The apartment Is perfectly located at the shore and you have a nice view over the sea from the terrace. As we are used to a bit lower temperatures we enjoyed the A/C

Nice condo in Poipu

We enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was clean, well stocked and great location. Ocean is a few steps away and great views of the Sunset. Sara was very responsive and has great communication. She provided beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and snorkel for guest's use. The welcome basket was very nice. Highly recommend.

Great location, ok property

The location is great. Grass outside the back for kids to play (I did yoga). If you walk around the property, there is some great surfing to watch. Condo is well worn and the pull out was super uncomfortable. You could barely cut with the dull knives. I had to kill a roach every day I was there.

Poipu Paradise

Although we had difficulty getting the address and unit number, it was a great place to stay. Quiet complex, clean condo and easy access to the ocean. Even with an “ocean front” room, the rooms at the large resorts are a long way from the ocean. The sliding glass door of this condo was 10 steps from the ocean. We watched turtles, surfers and a spear fisherman.

Good complex location. Unit location does not have the best water views, but is nice. Unit smaller than I expected but ok for 2 people. Furnishings and accessories good. AC is good in main room, bedroom is difficult to keep cool. Size of unit dictates small amt of cloths hanging space. Overall decent value with price considered

Fantastic Location!!

The condo is located in a beautiful area of Koloa in Poipu. The pictures are accurate. The interior of the condo was newly updated and decorated nicely. Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed. The owner Sara, was very responsive and communicated quickly. We didn’t need anything but I could tell she would have helped us if we did. Also, she loves her home and the island, too. There’s the personal commitment. There are beach chairs to take out to the lawn on the front of the building to watch the sunsets ( incredible), the surfers, listen to the surf or watch the wedding couples take pictures. For a fabulous dinner walk next door (literally) to The Beach House. But be sure to make reservations a few days in advance. The island itself is magical and the location of the condo allows you to go to Waimea Canyon, Waimea Falls, the Botanical Garden tour, Blowhole, then around the island to go tubing , Then to beautiful Hanalei Bay and the town of Hanalei and don’t forget to get a Shave Ice. Enjoy!!!
