"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean."
