"We arrived after midnight and did not have to check-in. Our host made sure that security knew we would be arriving late. At 1:00am it is nice not to have to wonder where the office is. The accommodation was spotless, highly maintained, and comfortable. The resort is about 30 minutes south of Kona so it feels like a home, not a tourist place. The host responds within minutes. We had a 10pm flight out so we asked if we could check-out late if there wasn't anybody else booked for that day. We were lucky. Nobody else was booked for that day. Out host allowed it. There is a small beach with good snorkeling only 6-7 minute walk away. The ocean had 3-4 foot swells and strong currents and not safe for swimming at any of the beaches, except Kahalu'u Bay Beach. It is a protected harbor, safe for snorkeling. There are several manta ray and snorkeling tours working out of that harbor which is very convenient. No car needed to get there. There is also a sandy beach about a 10 minute drive north called Magic Sands/ White Sands beach. The grounds are immaculate and gorgeous. There is a hotel a few minutes walk away where you can watch the manta rays at night from a viewing balcony. Bring binoculars and a camera with a zoom lens. There is a shopping mall about a 5 minute drive away with a grocery store, restaurants, pet grooming, and more. Our host is fantastic, the resort is amazing, and the unit was great."

"This property was perfect for our family vacation. 10 people stayed 9 nights at the house. The house, pool, hot tub, yard, and waterfront views was amazing, even better than we expected. We ate majority of our meals at the house as the views were better that any restaurant or any luaus. The house, pool, and yards are very well maintained. Everything was clean, well-organized, and easy to use. The house is in a great location. Several beaches & shopping nearby, but the location maintains privacy. The house can easily accommodate 14 people. It was perfect property for us and we would recommend this for a large group who wants to be water front with fantastic water views."

"Host/managers were quick to respond and fix some minor issues that cropped up at the start of our 10 day stay. House is well-appointed and we made use of washer/dryer. I actually looked forward to hearing the frogs each night, and the roosters crowing in the morning. The covered deck was really nice since we had a lot of rain. Plenty of towels. Full size fridge. Large bed is very comfy and soft."
