Overall the perfect place if you are looking for a reasonable and comfortable place to stay, close to the beach, in this part of Kos. Stergos and his mother runs the place, and they are on their toes to accomodate your needs and wishes. Stergos even waited an hour for me at the airport when my baggage was missing. 10/10 for hospitality! Beautiful and not too busy beaches very close by. The place has an easy and nice atmosphere.

Basic and poor value

Though it says that they will come and get you from the airport when I contacted the property they would only do this until 9pm. No good for my Easyjet flight arriving at 9:20pm. This left us in the taxi queue which took more than an hour to get a taxi. Apparently in high season it can take 2 hours! Taxis very expensive, 28 euros for 10 minute ride. There is not much in Marmari. The map looked like Anthia was set back a couple of blocks from the beach.in fact it is surrounded by scrub land. There is a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is a reasonable restaurant a couple of minutes walk and less than 10 minutes to a small supermarket. 15 to 20 minutes to the next restaurants. Nice beach but exposed to wind so lots of wind surfers and no lifeguards. Anthia basic facilities and staff less than helpful. We were there 2 nights and they did not come to empty bins or clean. Old and outdated, hob plate and kettle, fridge and little else. Not worth the money, we went on to Kalymnos, Lipsi, Patmos and Samos and stayed in cheaper places with better facilities and generally more helpful staff.

We had a beautiful time !

The family owned apartment Anthia is a perfect place to relax on the beach and also to explore Kos on your own. Therefore we rented a Scooter for two weeks. Thanks to the recommendations of the very helpful and friendly staff we saw beautiful places on Kos. If you are not a person that needs/wants all inklusive, Anthia is a very good choice !

Очень приятный отель в Мармари, хорошая атмосфера, чистота, в номере есть все необходимое, добродушный персонал, 3 минуты ходьбы до прекрасного пляжа. порадовал бесплатный трансфер из аэропорта. единственный минус, но не отеля, а самого местечка Мармари- только на далеких окраинах есть палатки с фруктами и овощами, так что лучше брать транспорт в аренду.
