"It was a great place to stay. Traditional tatami floors. 10 minute walk to the ski slopes. We didn't use the shuttle bus at all. Easy walk to local restaurants and shopping. Staff were amazing and friendly. Very helpful and accommodating to our needs."

"The location, way in the mountains, was gorgeous; the innkeepers were hospitable and such nice people. We enjoyed our two-night stay veery much. Two points to make: 1) while the hotel says it’s a B&B, one doesn’t get one unless you request it in advance. The website should make that clear. 2) the place is very difficult to find since there is no sign on Route 299 to lead guests to Monomori Inn on a side road, with the inn being up a little ways. Otherwise, we recommend it highly!"

"The hotel is a small hostel type located a bit far from the main road. The staff is friendly and nice. There are no personal cleaning amenites provided like toothbrush and towels though they can be easily bought from the supermarket nearby."
