This hotel feels like a modern, American-style good quality (but not luxury) hotel. It was easy to find on arrival. Lenka at checkin was very friendly and helpful. Garage right next to hotel (25E/night). We had a suite, which wasn't that big, but had a door between bedroom and living room (which allowed different bedtimes). Good breakfast buffet. Dinner was mediocre. Very well located in town. Really liked it, after staying in rather more modest 3* hotels in the last 2 stops.

Magnificent in every way. World-class service and customer care. The cleanest an most well-kept hotel I have ever known. Food was superb. The mountain lake views were beyond my expectations. The room balcony view was breathtaking. I am now a Kempinski fan for life. Wish I could have stayed for weeks.

This is the fifth time I've stayed at the Bankov. It has always been the best!

I took my parents to Kezmarok and needed a big room, so we booked the junior suite. It was rather spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the hotel courtyard and the Tatras. The hotel is atmospheric -a series of old homes/businesses that are now connected. This gives the hallways a bit of a byzantine effect, but I thought it added to the property's character. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is about as centrally located as it can be in Kezmarok. Able to easily walk to everything....

Nice room with great view - good location for hiking in the High Tatras. Restaurant food wasn’t particularly great so eat somewhere else if you can!

We chose this place randomly for a last minute trip because Zakopane was pretty booked up. We couldn't have been happier. Our one bedroom apartment was modern and in great shape; the staff was friendly; the location was convenient to hiking and attractions on both sides of the border. The room was plenty big for two adults and two children, and was supplied with dishes, silverware, pots and pans and other necessities we didn't necessarily expect (which is why we brought our own, too.)
