"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"Stay was convenient. Although i did try to contact staff by email and phone i had no luck. But i also didnt book directly with the hostel so its not their fault either. Luckily there was somoene willing to help get in contact with staff. Bedding was comfortable enough, room was provided with air conditioning. But all in all its totally fine for a short stay. Right next to family mart and easy self check in ~ bonus!! "

"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "Here's the rundown of this hotel: 1. Free shuttle to/from Mt. Fuji Station & Kawaguchiko Station via hotel shuttle. Just call the hotel upon arrival at the station. 2. Strict check-in time. 3. Tea/snack and breakfast coupons will be given to you upon check-in. You can use the tea coupon in a building in their garden. 4. The wine lounge is a must-try if you get access to it. 5. Dinner food is delicious. It was the highlight of our stay, since we only stayed for one night to recover halfway through our Japan trip. 6. There is an outdoor swimming pool next to the garden and a foot bath area in the garden. 7. Request a bus shuttle to Mishima Station if you are heading to Kyoto or Osaka after your stay. It's an hour-long trip that leaves at 10:15 after you check out. The cost is 4,000 yen per person."
