This is my second time staying at this hotel. The convenience to Dyreparken cannot be beat! We had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel and were not disappointed. The table agreed that that their coffee machine is great! We even had a emergency happen while at the hotel with our two year old getting injured while at the hotel (not the hotel's fault, just an accident) and the hotel staff was amazing! The view over the water, islands and mountains is incredibly beautiful and not to be missed. The owners are very friendly and very accommodating. We had a special vegetarian lunch which was delicious and plentiful. The sauna with a view was so fun and relaxing. It is on the dock where you can jump in the water if you dare! It is cold and refreshing. It is worth the commute into Stavanger, about 30 minutes, to be on this peaceful and lovely island at this welcoming, homey place.
