"We’ve had five wonderful days in Hægeland. Knapen is a fantastic country estate that’s sure to help you relax. It’s a cozy house with a great mix of modern and historic interiors. The garden offers plenty of space to roam and many areas for dining, relaxing, and activities. Among other things, we explored the lovely Sandland swimming spot, the log flume in Vennesla, the Mineral Park in Evje, and Kristiansand.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The convenience to Dyreparken cannot be beat! We had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel and were not disappointed. The table agreed that that their coffee machine is great! We even had a emergency happen while at the hotel with our two year old getting injured while at the hotel (not the hotel's fault, just an accident) and the hotel staff was amazing! Many people on staff jumped in to help along the way, and two of them even offered to...

We arrived late and were welcomed warmly. The next morning the owner gave us good directions and even called ahead for us to check on road conditions. Breakfast was nice with splendid view of river.
